I knew human trafficking was a problem. I didn’t know how much it would affect me until I met Frank Kane.

Listen, in my line of work, I’ve seen some vile, unconscionable acts. Most of the time, I play the people doing them. But I have to tell you, these stories from my fans: stories like nieces being drugged at clubs, bouncers saving one victim only to find three other girls chained in a hotel room—THAT’S the true horror. Shockingly often, human trafficking affects the people around us, the people we love...and we just don’t know it.

Doing research for this graphic novel opened my eyes to the reality of human trafficking. It went from being this unfathomable monster to a sadistic demon living in my own backyard.

We NEED to put an end to this horrible crime against humanity. I believe that together, we can.
